Induction Loops

Hidden Solutions

InfraRed

There is now a legal responsibility for all public buildings to have facilities in place for those who suffer from hearing related problems.

For example Banks, Building Societies, reception areas, conference rooms, store payment & advice areas, hospitals, museums, theatres, and houses of worship are all required to provide these facilities. (What is a loop? See below.)

At RG Jones we are experienced in providing the most effective and discrete solutions available, which are tailored to meet individual needs. All our installations carry a standard one-year warranty, with some equipment carrying a five-year manufacturers warranty.

Maintenance of a high-quality sound system is equally important and therefore, we have traditionally offered a comprehensive service to our clients comprising of both reactive maintenance (response to a system failure), and preventative maintenance (averting a system failure).
Please contact us to discuss how this could apply to you.

As well as conventional Induction Loops, we are able to offer the latest InfraRed solutions as required.

To determine the best solution for your situation, we can advise you based on our extensive experience

Whatever the need you have, we have the right  solution at the right  price

The basic technologies are:

System

Method

Manufacturers

Induction Loop

Works on a modulated signal fed round a cabled loop, picked up by most standard hearing aides in the "T" position.

Ampetronic, i-thinking, Signet AVX, etc.

InfraRed

Works on a modulated signal fed into an InfraRed transmitter, usually ceiling mounted, picked up by special InfraRed receivers provided to each listener.

Sennheiser, Philips, etc.

What is a loop?
An induction loop creates a magnetic field that contains an audio signal picked up when a hearing aid is set to the "T" position. The induction loop can be fed from a local microphone or from a separate audio system.
