From Wellies to DJ's at Henley Festival

RG Jones have been “turning up” the Henley Festival of Music and the Arts for over 25 years now. “We are very very lucky to have you!” was the generous feedback from the organisers this year, and we’re equally thrilled to be a part of it.
Henley Festival of Music and the Arts has to be seen to be believed: a stunning location, a unique format, and a character all of its own: over five nights a sequence of non stop events featuring top names; great events and performances; fine art and fine food, sprinkled with a touch of make-believe.
Once again, our chaps hung up their Glastonbury wellies and slipped straight into their dinner jackets for the week of fine food and magical entertainment. “We are responsible for providing sound coverage of the entire site” explains Andrew. “The rig is quick and as we are dealing with so many areas, it is challenging, but by using the same core team we have managed to ensure that this process is seamless. We are so grateful for the support of our dedicated and professional crew".
This year Will Young opened the festival with a fantastic performance and the audience was eager to join in! Other great names included Bryn Terfel, Nigel Kennedy, Symphonic Queen with Ronan Keeting closed the Festival on Sunday evening. .
“We are so lucky to be involved with a number of jobs that embrace the entire spectrum of the arts.” Explains Andrew “From the magnificence of Glastonbury to the beautiful galleries at the Royal Academy of Arts – Henley is an extraordinary mixture of the two”.
