Olympic Fever kicks off with The AVIVA Series
1st February 2012
The AVIVA Series is an opportunity to witness great athletics action. The unique format see athletes compete as part of a team for National glory, and the crowds went wild as Brit athlete Mo Farah took Gold at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. This was the last indoor meeting of this type to be hosted by the Kelvin Hall, with new facilities in the east end of Glasgow set to open next year ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
RG Jones engineer Laurance Jarratt worked with Creative Technology to provide a VT to introduce the new Commonwealth Arena, presented by Iwan Thomas. This is not the first time RG's have worked with Iwan, he already knew a lot of faces from A Question of Sport Live Tour last year.
RG’s have been involved with sporting events for many years, and this experience has allowed us to find the very best solutions to meet the demands and challenges that events of this scale can present.
