Venue: De Vere waterpark, Cotswolds

Working alongside our wonderful colleagues at ‘Chew events’ we were honoured to be asked to supply production for ‘Twinings Tea’ heads of department away meeting. They held this at the beautiful ‘De Vere Cotswolds Waterpark Hotel’ and the event was spread across three days.

Our team loaded in late on the Monday evening and commenced an overnight rig – the brief was simple – create corporate meeting but with class – an out of office meeting at a stunning location.

The set up consisted of Audio / visual and lighting. For the audio we set up our sleek corporate and non-invasive Martin audio DD6 speakers down the room and we used one of our personal favourites, the Yamaha QL1 mixing console to mix. For the video side, the venue had a large screen for us to use and we also brought along two of our Samsung 65” screens to use as relays – we also had x3 cameras set up in the room that were capturing different angles – the footage from these would later be used and edited to create a highlights reel from the event for the client.

The days were a mix of presentations, talks from guest speakers and team building exercises led by Chew.

On the Wednesday evening, we transformed the room into an awards set up for the company’s peoples awards night. We added in our core colour points for ambience, turning the room a beautiful purple. On the stage we put up x4 showtec infinity is-100 lights – we used these to create the perfect atmosphere when an award was given accompanied by an audio sting.

Post event our technical team edited and created a highlights reel for the client – perfectly showcasing their three-day event.
