Oasis Church, Colliers Wood

Oasis Church – Sound Design for a Vibrant Worship Community
Tucked in the heart of Colliers Wood, Oasis Church is part of the wider Oasis Trust – a movement committed to community transformation. With a dynamic congregation and regular use of music, spoken word, and multimedia in their services, Oasis needed an audio installation that was adaptable, discreet, and robust enough for varied weekly use.
RG Jones Sound Engineering was brought in to support the church’s growing AV needs, building a modern, easy-to-use sound system that could serve both traditional services and more contemporary community events. With years of experience in faith-based AV installations, from iconic cathedrals to modern urban churches, RG Jones was well placed to design a tailored solution.

Designed with Purpose
This was a space that needed to work for sermons, choirs, amplified bands, guest speakers, and everyday conversations alike. RG Jones designed the system to be user-friendly for church staff and volunteers, with intuitive controls, flexible zoning, and automatic presets for common service formats.
Speakers were installed with visual discretion in mind, ensuring architectural harmony without compromising audio clarity. Delicate balancing of vocal warmth and intelligibility was key – especially in reverberant spaces or during worship music transitions.
Built for Community
From Sunday services to weekday community gatherings, the new system provides the Oasis team with the flexibility to grow their programming and adapt their space. The installation has already enhanced the listener experience, making spoken word more accessible, worship music more immersive, and the entire environment more welcoming.
RG Jones were a joy to work with from start to finish – professional, responsive, and respectful of the way we use our space. The new system has made a real difference to how people experience our services and events.
